Gabriela is a multimedia producer based in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Gabriela is a video editor, motion designer, graphic designer, and photographer who currently works as the Educational Multimedia Producer for Conservation Nation, a DC-area nonprofit working on issues of underrepresentation in the conservation field. In her current role, she produces, directs, and edits educational videos, in addition to serving as staff photographer and graphic designer for Conservation Nation’s education department.
When Conservation Nation teamed up with a biotech startup in the Fall of 2024 to produce an interactive educational video about DNA showcasing a reproductive biologist, Gabriela served as director, producer, editor, and motion designer.
As staff photographer for Conservation Nation, Gabriela travels throughout the DMV area to chronicle the nonprofit’s wide range of work.
With her background in graphic design, Gabriela has designed – and often taken photos for – books and eBooks for a variety of governmental and nonprofit sponsors including the US Forest Service, U.S. Department of the Interior, and the nonprofit Nature Forward.
Gabriela hopes to continue to channel her creativity into meaningful and powerful projects that inspire others.
